Our first CD in Grupo de Capoeira Ginga is now ready for sale. Prices: 100 DKK or 15 EUR. It contains 43 minutes with traditional capoeira songs for four different rhythms: Angola, São Bento pequeno, São Bento grande de Angola and Regional. Vocalists are mestre Agostinho, mestre Jacob, contramestre Dawison and instrutor Atrevido. The CD is accompanied by a 21 pages songbook. It includes all the lyrics for the songs on the CD word by word and with translation into English and Danish. The CD has a strong educational aim and can be used as a supplement to your normal capoeira classes. It enables you to practice at home and learn the songs by singing along with the lyrics in front of you. The CD is sold at my regular classes in Copenhagen, by professor Renato in Århus, Mads in Aalborg, professor Rasta in Sevilla and at the coming workshops in Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Beograd.
